This light orewood brown edition of the Nike Daybreak Type Shoes has arrived as part of the HO20 collection and features characteristic decoration that references early Bill Bowerman prototypes. As a demonstration of the early design process, the mix of materials gives the low-cut silhouette a textural finish with durable suede around the front of the toe vamp, airy mesh across the uppers, a smooth synthetic fabric on the laces border and heel as well as a reinforced plastic heel piece. Exaggerated stitching seen on shaped side panels tap into initial designs whilst the lace fastening has been colour matched to suit the border and the exposed foam tongue features a woven label bearing ‘N354’ branding. Outlined Swoosh ticks have been stitched in black on either side of the foot for signature branding whilst on the back of the ankle collar a shaped overlay panel provides a base for additional ‘N.354’ text in black. Strengthening a key abrasion area, the reinforced plastic heel clip has a durable finish and continues onto the white foam midsole. Underfoot the waffle sole completes the style and adds a signature touch that provides a high level of traction when worn across a variety of terrains.
